3rd European Symposium on Minimally Invasive Oncologic Surgery

Minimally invasive surgeons continue their pioneering approach, developing new techniques and strategies for every organ system of the abdomen. Increasing experience in applying techniques to perform major resections of all abdominal organs allows routine, minimally invasive procedures. Additionally, more and more of these less invasive procedures are proven to be oncologically non-inferior to their well-established open counterparts. In recent years, robotic surgery has also emerged as a promising technical development for minimally invasive oncologic surgery.

Our upcoming third European symposium on minimally invasive oncologic surgery in March 2020 features international experts who will share their expertise and techniques. The presentations are based on video sequences illustrating how experts perform these challenging operations.

We will also discuss the scientific basis of minimally invasive surgery and highlight key publications and clinical trials regarding oncologic laparoscopic and robotic surgery.

With kind regards
